This week Roger Williams was proud to present a cheque for 8,200 pounds to local charity - Walsall Breast Cancer Self Help Group.

Most of the money was raised at the Company's 45th anniversary party held last month and supported by suppliers and customers generous donations were made. The Coinadrink staff worked hard to boost the funds - activities included sponsored walks, prize draws and even a sponsored silence!

We had a fantastic response from our "Managers Special" offer last month, so much so that we ran out of stock. As the environmental debate continues some companies have taken advantage of forthcoming legislation by charging an environmental levy way ahead of the date it becomes effective. The latest regulations cover the disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) doesn't come in until July and we won't make any charges until then.

At Coinadrink we are always backing new and exciting developments. When we heard of the environmentally friendly 'biodegradable' cup, we were so interested we wanted to see it for ourselves.

So we got hold of one. We're now waiting for it to 'biodegrade'. We are waiting for it to virtually dissapear! We're going to share this with all of you too. We will regularly post videos on youtube, and to our blog updating you on the condition of 'Bio'. Yeah, we called him 'Bio'.

Last month we celebrated 45 years in business and decided that as well as having a fun evening we would put the proceeds to local charity Walsall Breast Cancer Self Help Group.
